I remember the teacher Mrs Parkinson wasn't her husband and son in the scouts.
Your Gran Mrs Parkinson was a lovely lady and teacher!! we lived round the corner from her and I was the same age as her sons (1 must be your Dad say hello from Eunice schofield

I was at this school from the first day it opened until I started work at 15yr old in 1962. I remember Mrs Parkinson very well, she was my form teacher for a time, one of the nicest teachers I ever met.

Reply to comment made by Wigwam in 2010. Only just found these pictures and comments. Mrs. Ford was caretaker at Aspull C of E primary school at the Finger Post. She was my Aunty Peg and Glenise was my cousin. They emigrated to Australia about 1966 but unfortunately both Mrs. Ford and Glenise have both passed away.
