Joint School trip undertaken 7th to 11th June 1965 by Hindley Green County Primary School and Argyle Street County Primary School. Teachers: Mr Davenport and Mr Collier (Argyle Street) and Miss Baxendale and Miss Beckett (Hindley Green). This original photo was taken in Trafalgar Square and I (Frank Prescott) am sitting cross legged second from the right next to Stephen Cardiff on the end.

Hi i went on a london trip but not this one i remember we went up in a helecopter from battersea heliport. I remember mr davenport as his birthday was on the same day as mine and we used to give each other cards 10 september and he lived down lord street any more photographes out there...

The hotel inondon was called the granby is there anybody out there who was on the same trip we also went to the queensice scating rink .we left on the coach in front of school in argyle street opposite the little shop and main gate.early sixties...

I’m in the third row, third girl from the right. It was a great trip. I remember the hilarity at seeing Miss Beckett in her dressing gown and curlers!
