Thanks for that John, George is also on the choir photo as well.
Other names - back row. left of Elaine - Olive Berry (my future M-in-law, Mrs. Sharrock, Mrs. Ellison, can just see Mrs. Heywood. Bottom row LHS - me.
I am second from right front row and my gran Lizzie Winstanley is just to my right. I bet the Tea Room is at Penwortham because that's where we always stopped.

Some more names. Tom Winnard and his son Geof. Tom is back row extreme left.Geof is on the 2nd row just to the left of the guy with the kiddie on his knee. Also it's David Cauldwell. These choir trips were an annual ritual.
