I know a lot of the other faces but cant put names to them. can anybody help.
The cherubic-faced youngster which you have named as A. Scaldwell is undoubtedly my cousin Michael Berry!!!
Next to top row -- 3rd from the teacher is Mick Berry
and immediately in front of him are the Stringfellow twins, Margaret & Mavis from Kitt Green.

I think 3rd row far right is my mum Maureen Baybutt.
Thought I would have been in this class, but I'm not there.
Far left front row is George Halton.2nd row from top, 6 from left, Hitchen then on his left, Billy Marsh.4th row down,3rd from left, Margaret Adams I think. Recognise Hill and Bennett, Margaret Lyon, sister of Wigan RLFC 2nd Row Geoff. Thought it was Miss Birch who became Mrs Aldridge.
Recognise other faces but can't put a name to them.
I too thought I would have been on this photograph as I reconise a lot of these kids

This was my class ,but i can't understand why i am not on it.
I don't think Arnold Scaldwell is on this photo/ He is about a year older than me.
Iam told that the twins on the middle row 7+8 from the left are Mavis and Margaret Stringfellow. This information is from Dorothy Poulton who now lives in Toronto.
