The Teacher on the left was Norman Collier, ex pupil of Hindley& Abram Grammar. Used to live near Penny Gate on Hall Lane, Hindley. E.T.

The male teacher was Alan Collier and he came from Hindley Green, and finished his teaching career at St John's School, Hindley Green as deputy headmaster

The teacher on the left was my half brother, Alan Collier. He did originally live in Hall Lane, Hindley, then retired to Edinburgh Drive, Hindley Green. Sadly he passed away some years ago, but is fondly remembered by many for his years as an excellent schoolteacher, and also for his dedication as a Captain in St. John's Boys Brigade, Hindley Green.
