Nice pic Eilean. Can't quite get my bearings with it though. Are you sure it is the bottom of Greenough st ?

The photo was taken in Powell Street. The building on the right is St.Johns Presbytery and on the left is the Drill Hall and further along is the Co-op emporium on the corner. The photographer would be stood around Hilton Street.

I was best mates with Kevin Higgins at St Mary's in 57/58

My mum, Winifred Howe (nee Worthington) is in the group carrying the statue, on the far right, hiding behind the staff she is carrying!
