I knew Jimmy Blackburn when he worked at Stones's pit in Liverpool Road

I remember you at stones's colliery I seem to remember you arguing with Tommy Wynne at the pit bottom, in a jovial sort of way ofcourse alas Tommy is no longer with us

The people in front of the co-op are May and Bill Baker, they lived at No 10 Brook Street, next to them is Mr & Mrs Wood and their daughter I think it is Margaret Wood, who lived at No 8, I lived at no 6 Brook Street with my Mum, Dad and two brothers Keith and Colin Spencer
