May Queen, 1955 I think, left to right, June Southworh, me (Eileen Radcliffe),?, Eveline Molyneaux, and I think Christine Roper far right.I think it was the same year that Sandra Gostelow was Queen, anyone out there remember this?

Eileen. Is this a particular church event, or is it a private one?. I suspect it is St William's, but could be wrong.

Albert, it's definitely not St.Williams, it's Ince Central, it was held every year on the "rec" at the top of Jackson Street in Ince,it was quite an event back in those days!

Eileen. Being a Lower Incer, it must have passed me by. It seemed to have been quite an enjoyable event. Shame that these traditions are now of a by-gone age. Is that progress?.

I was one of the maids of honour too. Remember this and all mentioned.
