This was taken after 1953 - I am not in it. if you look at the others in the Album, I am on the other one with Rev. dagg. I used to love these Walking Days, everyone looked so good & to hear the music of the bands was great.

This picture was probably 1951,because we moved to Blackpool SEPT.1951 and I think that was our last time on the banner. The Minister was Rev Oxborough because Rev Bill Dagg was earlier when I was a little girl.I was 12 years old when we moved. My sister Eileen is in the centre of the middle row with a big ribbon in her hair. What wonderful memories of very precious times.Dorothy Thompson and Mavis Green are on the backrow and Kathleen Glover.I have this picture as well.love to all Zion Methodist people, they were good times.

Just trying to get the address of the Methodist Church and was very surprised to see the photo's - lovely memories of my own "walking day's" with the Church. Surprised to see a photo that I recognised but it ways its Kathleen Glover but I think in fact it might have been Marjorie Glover not Kathleen but I can't be sure the photo is rather small. Both have passed away unfortunately.

The lady is definitely Marjorie Glover not Kathleen as stated above. Kathleen was my sister and Marjorie was my aunt.

Thought Kathleen Glover was 2nd from left girl next to Dorothy Thompson on back row,and Marjorie Glover was 2nd from left on middle row in front of little Martha Waterworth.Lovely to keep in touch with old Zion Methodist people, thanks for that.

My mum Kathleen glover as a teenager is on the back row and Marjorie glover on the next row. Mavis green was mums bridesmaid.
