I think the girl crowned May Queen that year was Sylvia Sharratt,she was in the same class as me at Ince Central, (2 years older than Irene's class!) She lived in Ince Green Lane opposite St.William's and moved down south when she was about ten.I was one of the attendants, we had pale blue dresses.I think the boy on the right is Terry Lowe (Snowy) and the boy on the left is Paul Fern.Thanks for the lovely memories.

Sylvia was in the same class as my older sister Mary, her younger brother Geoff was in my class, they moved London way; we wrote for a while but sadly lost touch.I remember going to his birthday party at the house on Ince Green Lane across from ST WILLIAMS, next door was a wool shop Geoff called her auntie but i don't think she was related, can't recall her name.
