The bloke smoking a cigarette just behind the guy with glasses loks uncannily like my Uncle Bill Anders
No thats Tom Hilton from Downall Green
The lad on the left leaning on the rail looks a lot like Tommy Woodcock, he lived in the Miry Lane area of Wigan.
Yes, the bloke on the left does look a lot like my dad, but it isn't, I don't ever recall him saying he's been to the Isle of Man.
The first lads name wasn't Tommy the lad above him was Jimmy Gilligan from Bryn,I can only name four of the lads on the photo forgot the names of the rest
It says the pic was taken in the IOM but it also says Wiganers on holiday at Blackpool. Maybe Tommy Wodcock was in Blackpool and not IOM, cos that picture certainly looks like him. I used to see him often in the Miry Lane area and if its not him then he has a lost twin!
the three young women from left to right are margarie ashurst, nee dunlop, my cousin may brown, nee herring , and jean dunlop sister of margarie , they all live a stones throw away from were they were born ,, bradley village ,,
